The secret is in the super-absorbent silica gel crystal bags contained within their plastic inserts, which can absorb up to 60% of their weight. What’s more, using a simple twist/lock mechanism the inserts can be used as either a clothes hanger, shoe insert or hung in a confined space to absorb moisture from the air. When an insert is full (indicator turns from blue to pink), simply put the silica gel bag in the microwave, out in the sun, or on a radiator so the water is evaporated and then it’s ready use again – time-after-time. This dehumidifying kit is particularly useful in the winter when your shoes and jackets might become wet from walking home in the rain.
